Fascinating Cities and Towns

Wine Valleys & Vineyards
Lets Begin With Chile

To visit the many and interesting towns and cities of Chile we just have to drive the Pan American Highway that runs almost the entire country from North to South. With the country not being much more than 100 miles wide at some points, it is easy to reach the cities and towns of Chile using the good roads that connect the country.

Let’s start our journey from the North starting with Arica.

To do justice to each city and town we have created a separate page for each. Just click on the city name below.

More Information:

Before we even begin you need to know about Sernatur which is short for Servicio National de Turismo. Sernatur is the official government tourist board which provides a broad range of maps, brochures, and specific topic information like hotels, skiing, spas, beaches etc. The staff will answer your questions and there is usually someone who will speak English. Their offices can be found in most of the larger cities with a large office in Santiago located at Av. Providencia 1550 between Manuel Montt and the Pedro de Valdivia metro stations. In smaller cities or towns ask for Oficina de Turismo which should have local information. In Santiago the Oficina de Turismo is located in the Casa Colorado near the Plaza de Armas. The staff is very helpful providing the usual maps but also walking tours. Ask for the Walking around Santiago.

More Cities will be added shortly.
