Valle de Colchagua - Another valley of red wines.

Crossing a set of hills south of the Rapel you enter what is becoming known as one of the primier vine valleys. The Colchagua Valley runs from the Andes including the city of San Fernando to the other side of the town of Santa Cruz. The River Tinguirica flows through the valley and other "smaller" valleys divide the hills in the area.

From well known wineries to the smaller boutique wineries you will find one of the areas that welcome visitors to participate in various activities and taste their excellent award winning wines. A day trip is available plus the Saturday only Wine Train that will take you from San Fernando to Santa Cruz. Private tours can be arranged.
