The Valley of Casablanca is coming into its own as a wine producing valley in Chile. It also makes for an excellent day tour because of its proximity to Santiago and the coastal cities of Viña del Mar and Valparaiso.

The name comes from the town of Casablanca located just off of Highway 68 approximately 84 Km or 53 miles from Santiago. From the east the wineries begin just after the Zapata Tunnel. From here they run to the coast. Known more for the white wines the valley has both larger wineries and the boutique wineries that are attracting attention and winning awards.
One the one day tour you can visit 2-3 wineries with time for lunch before returning to your hotel in either Santiago or Viña del Mar.
